Obituary for Jacqueline Carol Ashenbremer

Jacqueline Carol “Jackie” Ashenbremer, 80, of Williamsburg passed away at Landmark Hospital in Columbia on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 2, 1938 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late James C. Weber and the late Ella E. (Smith) Weber

On November 5, 1955, Jackie was united in marriage to William Ashenbremer who survives her passing.

Jackie retired from William Woods University where she worked in Administrative Services. In her spare time, she liked to crochet, do crossword puzzles, and play slot machines. Jackie and Bill enjoyed their Model A’s and were members of car clubs as well as Shriner’s Club. They enjoyed traveling and attending car shows. More than anything, Jackie enjoyed time spent with her family.

Jackie’s memory will be cherished by her husband of 62 years; son, Steve Ashenbremer of Williamsburg; daughter, Kim Belisle (Mark) of Woodburn, Il.; sister, Ellen Fahy of St. Louis; grandchildren, Amy Ray (Tiffany), Meghan Ashenbremer, Greyson Ashenbremer, McKenna Ashenbremer, and Alexzandrea Ashenbremer, and Mark Jones; great-grandchildren, Chase Blackburn, Carter Blackburn, and Addilyn Ashenbremer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Barbara Pruitt.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Readsville.

Memorial donations are suggested to Shriner’s Hospital, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
