Obituary for MARLENE ANNA PARKER

Marlene Anna Parker, 86, formerly of Williamsburg passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, Illinois.



Marlene was born in Big Spring, Missouri on November 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry Ernest Heldt and the late Anna (Suhre) Heldt.



On January 22, 1971, Marlene was united in marriage to Halbert Eugene Parker who preceded her in death on October 9, 2011.



Those surviving include son, Dennis Fischer of High Ridge, Mo.;  daughter, Vicki Keasling (Darren) of Worden, Il.; step sons, Gene Parker (Patricia) of Jefferson City, Mo., Ronald Parker (Stephanie) of Lemay, Mo., Jeffery Parker (Mary) of Wentzville, Mo.; sister, Gladys Hauser of Hermann, Mo.; grandsons, Jake Keasling (Beverlee), and Dwayne Keasling; eight step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.



Along with her parents and husband, Marlene was preceded in death by brothers, Kermit and Harry Heldt; sister, Edna Hauser, and twin sister Darlene Paul.



A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 11, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Gene Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Immediately following the service, interment will be in St. James Evangelical Cemetery in Big Spring, Mo.



Memorial donations are suggested to Disabled American Veterans or the Humane Society, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
