Obituary for Norma Jean White

Norma Jean White, 69, of Fulton passed away at University Hospital on Sunday, February 25, 2018.

She was born in Fulton on August 23, 1948, the daughter of the late Edward Adams and the late Ruby (Schaffer) Adams.

On April 21, 1971, Norma married Charles White. They shared forty-seven wonderful years of marriage and the strength of their love continues to be an inspiration to their family.

Norma worked at Mom’s Restaurant for over 20 years where she was well known for making extraordinary pies. She loved to watch the birds and squirrels and tend to her gardens and flowers. The greatest blessing of her life was her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years; daughters, Tammy Manion (Delbert Rapps), and Stacy White (Randy Moore); sister-in-law, Mary Adams; grandchildren, Stephen Trimble, Paige Farris, Brooke Leisinger, and Amanda Manion (Micheal); and great-grandchildren, Tracen and Fallon Trimble.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Crystal White; brothers, David and Jimmy Adams; and sisters, Sandra Armstrong and Connie Berrey.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
