Heaven became a lot more funny on January 1, 2018 when William Huff, age 70, died peacefully surrounded by his wife Louise, and his daughter, Pam. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Sophie, and Nicolas to carry on his memory and his amazing sense of humor.
Bill served two tours in Vietnam and was proud to be a veteran. He retired as Fire Chief from the Fulton Fire Department in September 1997 after 27 years of kicking axes and taming flames. He also takes full credit for hiring the current fire chief.
He and his wife enjoyed their retirement, camping at Wildwood and Castleview in Branson.
He will be so missed by so many friends and family. While he’s driving his big Hemi in the sky, but he’s been sick you know!
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark Huff.
Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
