Obituary for Frances Hyman

Frances A. Hyman, 82, of Fulton passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 in South Carolina.

She was born in Fulton on April 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Clinton “Cute” Harris and the late Hazel (Morts) Harris.

Frances was united in marriage to Harold Hyman who preceded her in death.

Frances worked as a Medical Secretary for Fulton State Hospital. She was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church and Callaway Hospital Auxiliary.

Those remaining to mourn her passing include daughter, Barbara Ready (Scott); step-sons, David, Mark, and Jeff Hyman; sisters Dora Wren, Ordith Skouby (Richard), Pauline Robertson (Gerald), Hazel Crane (Dale), and Phyllis McKinney; sister-in-law, Elaine Harris; sister-in-law Marge Harris (Jim); brother-in-law Don Hyman (Cathy); grandchildren, Meghan Ready (Ryan), and Caleb Ready; numerous step-grandchildren; and great-grandchild, Conner Ashby.

Along with her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by step-son, Mike Hyman; brother, Owen Harris; and brothers-in-law, David McKinney and Girard “Toot” Wren .

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
