Obituary for Evelyn Frances Languell

Evelyn Frances Languell, 89, of Fulton passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018.

She was born in Tebbetts on December 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Louis Roewe and the late Clara (Stock) Roewe.

On August 27, 1949, Evelyn was united in marriage to Gene Odell Languell. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2001.

Evelyn was a member of Hams Prairie Christian Church. She looked forward to attending church and loved her church family. Evelyn enjoyed gardening and tendering to her flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her cat, Houdini.

Evelyn is survived by her nephews, Duane Roewe (Donna), Dan Roewe, Steven Ewing, Roger Ewing, David Ewing, and Larry Languell (Vicki); and nieces, Elaine Humphrey, Sharon Epple (Brad), Shirley Otto, Betty Jean Franken and Barbara Phillips.

Along with her parents, and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by siblings, Walter Roewe, Elmer Roewe, Chester Roewe, and Dorothy Ewing.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Don Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Tebbetts.
