Obituary for Dennis Ervin Edler

Dennis Ervin Edler, 73, of Tebbetts, a Christian man, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

He was born in Hermann, Missouri on January 17, 1945, the son of the late Ervin Edler and the late Marie (Schannuth) Edler.

On May 15, 1965, Dennis married Patsy (Counts) Edler. She survives his passing.

Dennis was a hard-working man and made his living operating heavy equipment. He enjoyed working on his John Deere tractors, mowing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He was happiest when he was at home on his farm. Dennis and Patsy were of the Assembly of God faith.

Those remaining to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years; sons, Douglas Edler (Shannon) of Tebbetts, and Darrell Edler of Steedman; brother, Larry Edler (Kathy) of Millersburg; grandchildren, Ryan Edler, Natalie Edler, Ellie Edler, Jessie Edler (Bianna), Alaina Edler, and Alex Edler; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Mike Haldeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Middle River Cemetery in Tebbetts.
